The ultralight MSR Zoid 2 is a 4 lb. 1 oz., 2-person tent with 2 side doors and twin vestibules. The Zoid 2 has lots of mesh for great ventilation, and the rainfly has a roof vent with a kickstand to help prevent condensation build-up under the fly. The Zoid 2's non-freestanding design must be staked out to stay pitched, but the design is lightweight because only 2 DAC Featherlite aluminum poles are required. To save weight, the tent body can be left at home and the rainfly can be used independently with the optional footprint for an ultralight 2 lb. 13 oz. shelter. The Zoid 2 comes with MSR's Ultralight Needle stakes. These dependable stakes are virtually unbendable and weigh only 0.35 ounces each.
