It features a three-piece, 3.5-inch round pole with a durable, powder-coated finish. It also includes a 44-inch steel-framed, a clear acrylic backboard with backboard pad, a ratchet lift system for raising and lowering backboard, a Slam Jam rim that provides ultra smooth spring action, and a white all-weather net. It's backed by a 5-year limited warranty. In-ground systems tend to be more rigid and take up less space than portable systems. Concrete is required for an in-ground system installation, and due to the time required for the concrete to dry, the installation of an in-ground system will take longer than a portable system.
