New for 2005! The Kelty Adventure is a top-of-the-line child carrier designed for maximum comfort on long hikes. Carrier features a removable and washable child cockpit, auto deploy kickstand, a detachable day pack and a removable cargo bag. The premium suspension system is designed for your comfort, with extra padding and full adjustability. Curved and molded shoulder straps conform to your shape, and the load lifter straps allow you to adjust the weight distribution for comfortable carrying. The sternum strap prevents chafing under the arms, and has an adjustable height so you can position the strap where it is most comfortable. The premium waist belt system is contoured and triple layer padded. The triple layer foam is firmer to provide maximum support and comfort for heavier loads and longer hikes. The Kelty Adventure child carrier features Kelty's torso adjustment slider that's used to position the shoulder straps to adjust for different torso lengths. The adjustment is quick and simple, allowing this carrier to be used by both mom and dad with equal comfort. The removable and washable child cockpit has a 5-point harness, and lots of padding to keep the little one secure and comfortable. The Adventure has loads of extra features. There's a sun/rain hood, a detachable Kids pack with shoulder straps, a detachable cargo bag that attaches under the cockpit, zippered pouches on each side of the waistbelt and a cell phone/GPS pouch that attaches to the shoulder straps.
