New for 2005! The Kelty Pathfinder features a premium suspension system and is versatile enough for around town use, yet provides plenty of comfort for extended length hikes. The Pathfinder child carrier features a removable and washable child cockpit and an auto-deploy kickstand. The premium suspension is designed for your comfort, with extra padding and full adjustability. Curved and molded shoulder straps conform to your shape, and the load lifter straps allow you to adjust the weight distribution for comfortable carrying. The sternum strap prevents chafing under the arms, and has an adjustable height so you can position the strap where it is most comfortable. The premium waist belt system is contoured and triple layer padded. The triple layer foam is firmer to provide maximum support and comfort for heavier loads and longer hikes. The Kelty Pathfinder carrier features Kelty's torso adjustment slider that's used to position the shoulder straps to adjust for different torso lengths. The adjustment is quick and simple, allowing this carrier to be used by both mom and dad with equal comfort. The removable and washable child cockpit has a 5-point harness, and lots of padding to keep the little one secure and comfortable. The Pathfinder carrier includes a detachable day pack with shoulder straps, while the waistbelt features zippered pouches on each side for added convenience. The Pathfinder even comes with a removable sun/rain hood to protect your child from the elements.
