New for 2005! The Kelty Wanderer child carrier is an economical high-quality carrier for use around town or on short to moderate duration day hikes. The added features give this carrier extra convenience and versatility. The Wanderer features padded shoulder straps and a padded waist belt that can be adjusted for varying torso lengths. The back panel is mesh for light weight and good ventilation. Kelty has included additional padding in the upper back area to improve carrying comfort. There's also a sternum strap, with adjustable height position, that prevents chafing under the arms by allowing the shoulder straps to be placed in the most comfortable position. The Wanderer also features a removable day pack with shoulder straps. The day pack can be used alone or zipped onto the rear of the carrier. The waistbelt features a small zippered pouch with a built in key hook for convenience. Like other Kelty models, the Wanderer features a 5-point child harness, an auto-deploy kickstand, and 3M reflective tape.
