The SeaCharter 500C DF delivers the same sunlight-viewable display and sonar features of the SeaFinder 500C DF, plus versatile chart recorder features of precision 12-parallel channel GPS and WAAS navigation, and a built-in background map with enhanced detail coverage of the continental U.S. and Hawaii, including nav aids and wrecks/obstructions. For higher-detail mapping, the SeaCharter 500C DF runs a choice of optional electronic charts on plug-&-play memory cards like Lowrance NauticPath (see page 42). Unit stores up to 1,000 waypoints and event markers each, and 100 routes (up to 100 waypoints/route), with up to 100 savable and retraceable plot trails with up to 10,000 points in any trail.
