An innovative Weatherstrip vent plug system allows you to customize the venting with removable leak-proof plugs. This design approach substantially reduces the weight because you don't have to wear the sliding-vent mechanisms found on other helmet models. A Deep Goggle Notch at the back of the S4 keeps your goggles attached to your helmet even after consecutive faceplants. Attach the goggle strap to the Giro "snap-locking" loop and you're ready to ride. The cool thing about the Deep Goggle Notch is that you can position your goggle lens on the upper front of the helmet when you don't need them and not worry about the goggles falling off into the double-diamond abyss below your chairlift.
