This control oriented racquet continues the evolution of the Fire racquet line within the HEAD brand. Light and maneuverable, the Liquidmetal Fire is well suited to modern strikers of the ball who look to generate lots of racquet head speed and spin. With a slightly thicker beam width in the throat, the Liquidmetal Fire offers some nice pop on serves and overheads. The 102 sq. inch head size features a generous sweetspot, enhanced by HEAD's Total Sweetspot Construction. The 16/19 string pattern offers good access to spin while being tight enough to offer plenty of control. Stronger players will find this a solid choice as a customizable racquet, where weight and balance can be fine-tuned to taste. Best suited to 4.0 to 5.5 level players seeking a lot of control and a little pop in a lighter swinging racquet.
