The Hippo 380 and 480-S drivers represent a significant development in metalwood technology. The level of innovation incorporated in these drivers results in performance that is unrivalled in terms of distance, forgiveness and accuracy. Developed in partnership between Hippos' European and Californian, award winning design teams the driver utilise a series of system matched components available in a wide range of options to provide incredible power behind players at all standards of the game. Manufactured from 6-4 titanium for superior strength and lightness the heads are of a three piece construction allowing for superior internal weight distribution. The 420-S driver offers the same unmatched performance as its 380-S stable mate but offers a larger effective hitting area making it the most forgiving driver ever to feature in the Hippo line up. The CAD optimised centre of gravity is positioned low in the 380 to promote medium trajectory with added spin for a longer carry.The 420-S features a back weighted centre of gravity to get the ball up quickly for higher trajectory drives. The deep face design and power channel soleplates create excellent impact efficiency for penetrating, powerful drives. A controlled face thickness makes the clubface thicker in the centre and ultra thin around the edges for an increased C.O.R. A high coefficient of restitution (C.O.R) provides more efficient energy transfer to the ball during impact. This means that golfers of all ability level
