By using lighter carbon graphite in the crown(75% lighter than titanium) in combination with a titanium face and soleplate Hippo is able to create a deeper and lower center of gravity that promotes an optimum launch angle in the drivers. The fairway woods combine the same carbon graphite crown with a maraging steel face and a full sole to promote a lower, deeper center of gravity for the perfect balance and an optimum trajectory from the tee, fairway, or rough. The forged titanium face and maraging steel face both maximize energy transfer. A controlled face thickness makes the clubface thicker in the center and ultra thin around the edges for the highest allowable C.O.R. or spring like effect. A high coefficent of restitution(C.O.R.) provides more effcient energy transfer to the ball during impact. This means golfers of all skill levels and clubhead speeds can generate more ball speed for greater distance. The shaft of the ITX is a state of the art W928 high modules graphite that is lightweight, low torque, and designed specifically for the Giant ITX head. Pro viding the perfect engine to produce power and clubhead speed to drive the ball longer and straighter. The ITX comes standard with a Hippo Ultra Soft Wrap Grip.
