The Mountainsmith Chute is a versatile all-around day pack for the town or the trail, with a built in hydration system and a webbing waistbelt. The Chute's suspension features a webbing waist belt attached to rear panels that partially wrap around the wearer's back for additional comfort and support. The shoulder straps and back panel are padded with Brock foam, which absorbs more impact and keeps the user dryer and more comfortable than any other foam on the market. The Chute also features an adjustable height sternum strap that allows you to adjust the position of the shoulder straps across your chest to prevent chafing and binding. The Mountainsmith Chute has a zippered and padded valuables pocket with a key chain hook inside the zippered main compartment. In front of the main compartment, there's a fleece lined optics compartment. At the very front of the Headrace there's a bungee for holding extra gear. The Chute also features mesh pouches on each side. The Chute day pack has a built in 3 liter hydration system. The TPE reservoir is held in a separate compartment, and is strong, flexible and taste-free. The Bite Me Valve delivers a superior flow rate, is easy to clean, and has a leak proof positive shut off. The reservoir has a big bore cap that makes it easier to fill, clean, or add drink mix. The large diameter Aquifer drink tube delivers high flow, and heats up and freezes more slowly than smaller diameter tubing. The Chute is available in your choice of red, cobalt blue, or black.
