Now you can filet a fish with a keen blade that lies flat against the backbone and cuts just as if it were going through butter. Honed from 3/32" thick Carbon V steel, Cold Steel's filet knives are stronger and tougher than the competition's and they hold their sharp edges longer than any stainless steel blade. The key to the Filet Knife's cutting power is an approximately 20% wider blade than most of the competitors. This allows for a long, shallow "V" cross section, a wider grind, and a thinner edge which makes for a sharper knife.Specifications:Blade Length: 6"Overall: 11"Weight 4.7oz.
