The Kelty Flight 3 is light weight, only 5 lbs 2 oz, single wall 3 season 3 person tent. It is made from a waterproof ripstop polyester which is non stretch and UV resistant. It also has one large front entry door as well as a large 17 sq. ft. vestibule for stowing gear outside the large front entry door. Waterproof sidewalls extend up the sides of the tent thereby eliminating the need for fly coverage except for a small top fly that covers a nice mesh roof vent. The Flight vents on top, on each side and from the door for comfort. Fast to set up with its easy clip system, the Flight is an extraordinary light 3 person tent. Super computer designed and tested, DAC Featherlite poles are specifically engineered for use in lightweight tents. Kelty uses them in all of our Ultralight Tent series, as well as in our smaller Webforce backpacking tents. This system reduces the overall weight of a pole 12-18% depending on pole and section size. Tent floor/side seams that have been catenary cut and sewn with bias binding on the inside of the tent. Lifts floor construction seams off the ground to prevent water leakage. Also includes internal storage pockets, gear loft loops, and noiseless zipper pulls.
