The Wind 2 is MSR's premier extreme-condition 2-person tent. The Wind 2 is intended to provide maximum protection and livability even in the harshest conditions. During wind tunnel testing the Wind 2 withstood 106 mph winds. The Wind 2 is terrific for extended camping trips, these proven all-weather tents are at their best in winter, but are suitable for harsh conditions any time of the year. With 34 sq. ft. of interior space and a 53 in. peak interior height, the livable design features 2 doors and 2 vestibules. The removable ridge pole makes the tent freestanding or it can be left at home to reduce weight. The integrated fly increases strength and warmth, facilitates quick pitching, and protects the tent interior during set up in wet weather. A baffled wall increases warmth, while inside gear loops let you connect carabiners or cord to hang gear. For quick and easy packing, the Wind 2 comes with MSR's RapidRoll Tent Bag. The bag is generously sized and easy to use. Just roll up the tent and place it in the side-loading bag. Then, use the bag's twin compression straps to cinch it all together.
