Considered one of the NBA's finest all-around players ever, Oscar "The Big O" Robertson secured his only NBA title in 1971 while playing for the Milwaukee Bucks alongside Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (then called Lew Alcindor). Robertson, a two-time NCAA Player of the Year, three-time All-America selection at the University of Cincinnati and a co-captain of the gold-medal-winning 1960 U.S. Olympic basketball team, entered the NBA in 1960 after being drafted by the Cincinnati Royals. An incredible competitor who gave 110% effort in every game, "The Big O" averaged a Triple-Double in just his second pro season: 30.8 points, 12.5 rebounds and 11.4 assists. He played ten seasons with Cincinnati, in which he averaged 29.2 points per game, before being traded to the Bucks in 1970. During his 14-year NBA career, Robertson became the top-scoring guard of all time, amassing 26,710 points. A 12-time NBA All-Star and three-time winner of the All-Star Game's MVP award, he was elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1980, and in 1996 was named one of the NBA's 50 Greatest Players. Salute âThe Big Oâ with this beautifully designed and framed NBA Retired Jersey Numbers Collection piece. The keepsake showcases Robertson in action along with a 6'' replica jersey number of his uniform No. 1 with the Bucks.
