The Smartwool USST Wool Ski Socks have a medium-cushion shin and foot with the flat loop toe seam. These are over-the-calf-height. They are made of 80% Wool and 18% stretch Nylon and 2% elastic. Only 100% Fine Grade Merino Wool is next to your skin to provide the most comfort and performance. Stretch Nylon is added to the sock's outer layers for superior fit and maximum durability. Medium density padding assures a comfortable snug fit and shin protection. The side panel has flat knit which reduces compression. And it is thinner to provide excellent control between the foot and the boot. These are best described as "soft and fuzzy". And Smartwool guarantees them not to shrink or itch.
