The Tubbs Catalyst Snowshoe is an 8" x 25" asymmetric aluminum frame snowshoe for fitness runiing and racing. This snowshoe is an updated version of the original Tubbs 10K. The shoe has been improved by adding dual, independent titanium toe crampons, secure fitting, easy-to-use Aerobic binding, and an anodized 7000 Series lightweight aluminum frame. Built to meet the rigors of cold weather workouts, the lightweight asymmetric shaped Catalyst is the shoe of choice for winter runners, multi-sport athletes and aerobic fitness enthusiats. The asymmetric aluminum frame is strong and feather light. Each shoe weighs only 1.45 lbs. The decking is abrasion resistent, lightweight, waterproof and durable ArcTec/Hypalon. The Aerobic binding is left/right specific with adjustable toe yoke and securely and comfortably fits running/cross-training shoes with minimal adjustment allowing for a natural stride. Dual, independent titanium toe crampons offer improved traction from foot strike through toe thrust. Razor like heel crampon teeth cut into packed trails and offer security on side slopes. One size fits all weights. Best used with running or trail running footwear.
