Here's a toy that may be a lot more effective before it becomes popular than after everybody has one. On the surface it appears to be an oversized periscope mask, made of sturdy hard plastic and featuring a snug mask and a built-in snorkel. But it's also secretly a squirt gun, drawing water directly from the pool or lake and squirting it out a hidden hole in the top. Because it relies solely on hand pumping, batteries are never required. The mask provides convenient underwater visibility which will be necessary when the squirter is inevitably chased around the pool. --Charlie Williams
