Swix Two angle Side Edge Fileholder. Provides 88° for icy conditions and 90° for normal hard snow. Short 45 mm file section for following the curve of the sidecut of skis and snowboards. The Swix T2001 is a two-angle file guide for sharpening snowboard or ski edges. Its small size is handy for on-hill, touch-up tuning. One slot is for maintaining a 90° angle (0°). The second slot establishes an 88° angle (2° bevel). A 2° side-edge bevel is desirable for icy snow and/or high performance handling. The short file easily follows the curved side-cut of the board or shaped skis, while the larger file guide surface provides stability while being moved along the base. Round off the very ends of edge at the tip and tail with a stone (T240) to prevent over-turning or 'hooking' when riding or skiing. For best results use vises.
