A uniquely planned concept The Katadyn Combi is fitted with Katadyn's proven ceramic filter, the indispensible standard for providing clear, safe drinking water -- anywhere and at any time. It also offers users a second stage: an activated carbon filter effective against malodorous and noxious chemicals. Albeit activated carbon has a disadvantage: it sufferes from rapid microbial contamination -- it cannot be cleaned and should be replaced after a short time.
