This pioneering single-wall tent provides all the protection and living space of a large tent, plus the compactness, and weight savings of a tarp shelter. This roomy shelter is fully enclosed, fits 2 people plus gear, and weighs only 3 lbs! The Missing Link sets up with trekking poles or guy lines with overhead tie off points instead of traditional poles, and is easy for one person to pitch in less than 3 minutes. With 37 sq. ft. of interior floor space plus a 14 sq. ft. vestibule, the Missing Link is truly spacious. The huge front door provides good ventilation, and wide-open access to the vestibule for cooking or stowing gear. The top half of the door features a mesh panel with a zip-up fabric backing. The Missing Link comes with MSR's Ultralight Needle stakes. These dependable stakes are virtually unbendable and weigh only 0.35 ounces each.
