The team's rise began in 1907, when the Bayern Reds moved to their new home, the Bayern Ground on Munich's Leopoldstrasse. 13 years later, they had become the city's biggest club and in 1932 they won their first piece of silverware: the South German Championship- defeating Eintracht Frankfurt 2 0! After winning their third consecutive Bundesliga Title in 1974, with Paul Afro Paule Breitner on their side, Bayern Munchen accomplished what no other German team had done before: crushed Atletico of Madrid 5 to 1 to hold their first European Cup: the UEFA Champions Cup - which they won the next two seasons!
