Combining the finest optics with quality construction and European styling, the Discoverer Series 7 x 42 binoculars provide exceptional performance. Hunters and birders will appreciate the clear, crisp images delivered by high index BaK-4 roof prisms. Bushnell's newly developed XTR coating produces the best possible light transmission plus full-spectrum color fidelity and optical clarity. XTR coatings improve light transmission over traditional magnesium fluoride coatings. PC-3 phase coating, a Bushnell exclusive, ensures optimum resolution. Hermetically sealed and nitrogen purged, Discoverer binoculars deliver a reliable, clear view in extreme weather conditions. RainGuard water-repellent coating dramatically reduces external fogging by forcing moisture from rain, fog, or snow to form in small droplets on the lens surface and sheet away. The one piece body is rubber armored for maximum protection against field hazards. Extended eye relief, 20-millimeters for 7 x 42, combined with twist-up eyecups, give eyeglass wearers a full field of view.
