The MSR Fury is one of the lightest, most bombproof mountaineering tents on the market. The 2-person Fury offers great internal space, unmatched strength, and a large hooped vestibule that provides increased storage and usability. Designed to be lightweight and handle extreme weather, MSR's strong Compression Tension pole design acts like a spring against the rainfly, while creating a wide, vaulted ceiling for maximum headroom and floor space. To help you avoid clutter, the Fury features a gear loft, inside storage pockets and stowaway door pockets. For quick and easy packing, the Fury comes with MSR's RapidRoll Tent Bag. The bag is generously sized and easy to use. Just roll up the tent and place it in the side-loading bag. Then, use the bag's twin compression straps to cinch it all together. The Fury achieves excellent high/low venting thanks to a large mesh rear panel and a peak vent with a kickstand support. The Fury features adjustable stake loops backed up against failure by a second set of webbing loops, and they're large enough to accept skis. MSR's DryGuy system accommodates up to a 10mm climbing rope and won't wick, freeze or hold moisture. The glove-friendly DryTie door ties are faster, drier and lighter than toggle/bungee systems. The Fury uses 4 DAC 9.35mm FeatherLite poles. They're made of super-strong extruded aluminum and are stronger and lighter than other aluminum poles. Color coding makes set up easy. Reflective detailing on the door, roof vent, guylines, DryGuys and zipper pulls make it easier to find and adjust the tent at night.
