The MSR Fusion 2 is lightweight, 2-person all-season tent with great ventilation for spring and summer use as well as the necessary warmth and strength for fall and winter weather. The huge D-shaped door allows shoulder-to-shoulder access for preparing food in the vestibule, and easy entry and exit even when bundled up in full winter garb. The Fusion 2 is tough enough to handle a mountain storm and airy enough for hot summer nights. MSR's strong Compression Tension pole design acts like a spring against the rainfly. The Fusion's large mesh panels open up for ventilation, or zip shut for warmth. An adjustable wire peak vent allows good ventilation through the roof, and can be adjusted from inside the tent. To help you avoid clutter, the Fusion features a gear loft, inside storage pockets and stowaway door pockets. For quick and easy packing, the Fusion 2 comes with MSR's RapidRoll Tent Bag. The bag is generously sized and easy to use. Just roll up the tent and place it in the side-loading bag. Then, use the bag's twin compression straps to cinch it all together. The Fusion 2 features MSR's DryGuy system that won't wick, freeze or hold moisture like webbing guy-outs, and accommodates up to a 10mm climbing rope. The glove-friendly DryTie door ties are faster, drier and lighter than toggle/bungee systems. The Fusion 2 uses 3 DAC 9.35mm FeatherLite poles. They're made of super-strong extruded aluminum and are stronger and lighter than other aluminum poles. The Fusion 2 features a bathtub floor that raises the floor seams off the ground and away from potential sources of standing water. The extra thick 10,000mm PU floor coating withstands years of abuse. Reflective detailing on the door, roof vent, guylines, DryGuys and zipper pulls make it easier to find and adjust the tent at night.
