The Elan Youth Integra Race Ski represents the evolution of junior ski technology. Instead of building a scaled-down version of an adult ski, Elan made the Integra Ski to mimic an adult's ski but fine-tuned it for children, so they develop proper technique before graduating to adult skis. The super-soft skis are made with a relatively minor amount of sidecut; this lets youngsters get the ski on edge and really gets them to easily carve and link some turns. The skis also release from the carve easily, so kids can skid turns when they need to. The Integra Race Skis are also very light, so kids will be able to handle them in the parking lot on their own.
