The Briko Forerunner Cross Over Ski and Snowboard Helmets are short helmets that advance the technology for venting. This Briko helmet is a short ski or snowboard helmet with a removable padded ear flap. The Briko Forerunner provides the best venting in the industry. The Maxi Dry internal lining is light weight and will wick away moisture. It is designed with an anatomic construction that reduces pressure in the ear area. It also has a vent in the ear area. The middle layer is polystyrene foam internal cap with aeration channels. It has an excellent weight/absorption capability ratio thus providing exceptional energy absorption. The channels provide excellent air flow inside the helmet. There is an anatomic roll block positioned at the nape of the neck made of a light moisture absorbing fabric. The outer layer is polycarbonate which also adds to the energy absorption during an impact. The finish on these standard models is layers of UV-resistant paint with decals applied and covered with a UV transparent paint. The bayonet hook-up buckle is made of a thermoplastic material. The chin strap is padded.
