We've all done it - skating around cones is part of almost every hockey practice. In order to simulate game conditions, a pylons or cones are placed at different places on the rink. While cones can be a good training device, the thing that is missing from the formula is that in real game conditions, you are not going up against a cone that is only 8 inches deep. You are going up against players with their stick out front creating an obstacle with some ''depth'' The Attack Triangle recreates the skates and stick of a player into one durable, effective unit. The Attack Triangle is constructed with a durable, lightweight plastic construction that easily breaks down to fit into your coaching bag. The whole concept of this unit is to develop an understanding of puck movement when moving around an opponent by replicating the positioning of an opponents skates and stick. By using a realistic obstacle like the Attack Triangle at home or practice, players develop an understanding of passing/shooting lanes when coming into the teeth of the defense. In addition, players can work on dekes and moves around and through players.
