New for 2005! The 3 lb 7 oz Kelty Illusion Women's is an ultralight pack with a 3500 cu in capacity for long weekends in the backcountry. The Illusion's suspension has been designed specifically for women. With top loading and front access, along with mesh side pockets, the Illusion keeps you organized without weighing you down. The Illusion's suspension incorporates features designed just for women. Anatomically designed, the angled shoulder straps accommodate a woman's curvature while the conical waistbelt offers finely-tuned support and comfort over the hips. The sternum strap position can be adjusted for comfort and to prevent chafing under the arms. The torso length is adjustable by moving the backpanel and shoulder straps up or down to fit. The Illusion is a top loading design with a front U-zip front access panel. With most ultralight top loaders, you must unpack everything to access gear stowed in the bottom of the bag. The Illusion eliminates this problem by providing a U-shaped zippered front panel. The mesh side pockets keep frequently used gear handy. The top hood has a zippered stash pocket, there's a mesh water bottle pouch on each side. There's also a front mesh shovel pouch with elastic sides for quickly stowing a jacket or wet gear. The packbag is constructed with tough, lightweight Dyneema gridstop fabric. The Illusion is hydration compatible, with shingled exit ports on each side.
