Legs & Glutes is a complete and super-intense 51-minute comprehensive lower body workout that incorporates standing & floor exercises
The DVD includes Cathe's specialized Workout Blender & 22 Quick Select Premixes
Kick, Punch, & Crunch begins with a warm-up (7 minutes), then moves into a faster paced warm-up which Cathe refers to as intermediate intensity. After 13 minutes, you'll really kick it up to high intensity levels for another 21 minutes. During this time you'll be doing kickbox conditioning drills in an inverval style of pushing hard, recovering, and pushing hard again. Then you'll do three punching & kicking combos, keeping the heart rate up with jump kicks. You'll then move on to ab work on the stability ball (7 minutes), followed by a stretch (5 minutes). Legs & Glutes incorporates traditional and non-traditional exercises as well as standing and floor work. The workout begins with a warm-up (3 minutes), then standing leg work (30 minutes) including leg press on high step, hover squats, rear lunges with heel elevated, plie squats (varied tempo hold), drop squats on high step, explosive plie squats (with curtesy lunge insert), calf raises, sculpting drills in slow motion, explosive lunges, calf raises, leg extensions and outer thigh lifts. The floorwork (11 minutes) consists of glute & hamstring raises, outer thigh & glute sweeps, inner thigh lifts. All this is followed by a complete and refreshing stretch (5 minutes)
